August 28, 1943 – David Soul, born David Richard Solberg in Chicago, Illinois, was an American-British actor and singer. He passed away on January 4, 2024, in London, at age 80.

  • Best known as Detective Ken “Hutch” Hutchinson in Starsky & Hutch (1975–1979).

  • Scored a No. 1 US & UK hit with “Don’t Give Up on Us” (1976).

  • Followed with “Silver Lady” (No. 1 UK, 1977).
